A one-component, solvent-free adhesive that cures upon exposure to ultraviolet light. Its design focus is on toughening and modifying the resin system, typically using polyurethane acrylate or specific acrylate monomer copolymerization, with the addition of toughening components such as core-shell particles. The cured adhesive layer is no longer a traditional brittle, hard glassy state, but instead exhibits semi-rigid or flexible characteristics, with extremely high peel strength and impact resistance, and can reliably bond a variety of substrates such as plastics, metals, and glass.
Contact UsThe core feature of this adhesive lies in perfectly balancing the "speed" of UV curing with the "toughness" of the TUFFY concept. While achieving a highly efficient production line takt time where it cures and takes shape within seconds under light exposure, it also gives the adhesive layer excellent energy absorption capacity, enabling it to withstand repeated drops, vibration, and thermal shock without cracking. In addition, it also possesses good gap-filling capability and excellent thermal cycling stability, effectively mitigating the thermal expansion differential stress caused by bonding dissimilar materials.
??Consumer electronics structural bonding: Bonding of metal or plastic midframes to housings in smartphones and tablets, requiring passage of stringent drop tests.
??Camera module reinforcement: Bonding and fixing between the lens holder and substrate of high-pixel cameras, requiring absorption of drop impact and prevention of image blur caused by thermal drift.
??Speakers and micro motors: Elastic bonding of speaker voice coils and diaphragms, as well as fixation of the internal magnetic circuit of linear motors, requiring excellent fatigue resistance and impact resistance.
??Automotive electronic modules: Rapid sealing and bonding of tire pressure monitoring modules and various radar and sensor housings, withstanding long-term bumps and engine compartment vibration.
??Advanced medical consumables: Internal assembly of medical devices requiring toughness and rapid production, such as catheter connectors and Luer lock connections, capable of withstanding repeated operation and disinfection.
