Acrylate-based UV adhesives are single-component, solvent-free adhesives formulated primarily from acrylate oligomers and reactive monomers, with the addition of a photoinitiator. It undergoes instantaneous polymerisation upon exposure to ultraviolet light, curing within seconds to form a transparent adhesive layer. Combining extremely fast production cycles with excellent bonding performance, it is a key material for achieving high-efficiency automation in precision industries.
Its key advantage lies in its “light-curing” properties; it cures extremely rapidly and can be controlled as required, significantly enhancing production efficiency. Furthermore, it is a single-component, solvent-free, environmentally friendly and transparent adhesive. The cured adhesive layer exhibits low shrinkage and offers high bonding strength to substrates such as glass, plastics and metals. Through formulation design, its hardness can be adjusted to meet the varying requirements of flexible bonding or rigid structural joints.
✅ Electronics and electrical appliances: bonding of screens to bezels in electronic products such as mobile phones and tablets; securing of camera module lens mounts; reinforcement of flex cables; and encapsulation of components.
✅ Medical devices: The rapid and safe bonding of plastic components such as disposable syringe needles, catheters and filters requires resistance to body fluids and compliance with biocompatibility standards.
✅ Optoelectronic Displays: Laminating polarising films onto LCD panels; full lamination of touchscreen cover glass to sensors; and bonding of optical lens elements.
✅ New Energy and Transport: Rapid positioning of structural components for power battery packs; encapsulation of automotive cameras and radar sensors.
